Sorry to read this news Libby, it must be v hard at the moment. But hopefully you can find solace in books as we find solace in yours xxx PS now may be a good time to read Katherine May's Wintering if you haven't x
Hi Libby, I've just read your newsletter and just wanted to say that I'm so sorry for your loss and for the tough times you have been going through. I do hope better and really lovely times are on their way. xx
I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about your loss. I had an ectopic pregnancy and emergency surgery 12 years ago and it was a lot to process. I too find that books are a place of solace when I'm unwell or times are tough. Sending love your way xx
Sending love and light your way as you process this awful experience and heal yourself with words. I turned to your books and others earlier this year during a cancer scare and when my boyfriend was taken ill and ended up in a coma, so I too understand the comfort of reading in tough times and am grateful for your words x
Thank you so much for your kind words. That means so much to hear that my books brought even a little comfort in what sounds like a terribly difficult time for you. Sending good thoughts your way x
So sorry to hear your sad news Libby. It takes courage to share something so personal but also it’s a hand in the dark to be able to help others with your suggestions of what has been useful and comforting to you. You’re the second person to have recommended The Art of Rest so I’m sensing that’s a read for me. Take it easy and don’t forget to pause and rest when you need to too on those days when maybe things don’t feel as right as you might like them to. Sending hugs.
Thank you so much for your kind words. And do check out the book. I listened to it as an audiobook while out on walks and found it so helpful. It's really changed the way I think about rest.
Hi Libby so sorry to hear that you have been through the mill. I know how stressful and upsetting it must have been to find out that your baby was ectopic. There's nothing worse having to cope with that. Hope you feel better soon hunni. Keep up with writing your amazing novels. Huge hugs xx

Thank you so much Jo. And I loved Wintering but that's a great reminder - I think I shall return to it for a re-read. xx
Sorry to hear how hard it's been lately -- that's a lot. I'm glad books have helped x
Thank you Claire. And thank goodness for books! x
Always here for you if you need a chat x
