Love the idea of new short stories but would not pay £10 per month as I could buy a book for that. Maybe £2-3 per story.

That's really helpful, thank you. I'm still working out the details and pricing and definitely want to make sure I'm offering good value with lots of nice content at a price that isn't too high but still makes it worth my time!

I love the idea! And I think my preference is more towards something longer, like a self-contained story, once a month than a chapter every couple of weeks because, to me at least, it becomes more of an event. One of those tiny rituals of everyday joy (very much like physically buying a book 😊) in your inbox and something I'd make more time for. I love substack but I don't always make time for the stacks that publish more frequently, because I know another one will be along in a minute. Publish once a month and it feels a little more like an online book subscription, if that makes sense? Looking forward to seeing where you go with this. Good luck! 🙌

Love the idea of short stories, especially based on the books you have already released. Maybe 2 a month for £5/6

I'm still working out the pricing and want to try my best to keep it as affordable as possible - but this is my living too so it's a balance! There will still be plenty of free content via my newsletter as normal!

Completely understandable: writing and other arts should be payed for (I have been working in the arts for a long time myself). I will support you by buying your books and will be happy to read your free newsletters :)

I'm just chewing on the more money people have to spend, the more possibilities they get.
