I always find the transition of the design from hardback to paperback so interesting.
I really love some of those international ones. It’s a real testament to the designers that it is able to convey the feeling of your story despite such a variety of styles and trends. ❤️💙
Probably my favourite book cover would have to be the Brambly Hedge covers as they made me fall in love with children’s book illustrations. Despite having adult children myself, I still buy children’s books for their covers 😂
I love the Dutch cover of The Lido, that's the book I have and am very happy with it.
With regards to your latest book I like the one with the yellow dress much more as the other one is too much text for me personally.
The top left edition of the lido is so cute - very different from the others but I love it!
I think my favourite book cover (of this year) has to be Cleopatra and Frankenstein - it’s so simple but beautiful.
I get the design change, but why shorten the title?
Happy publication! Comparing international covers is so interesting!

In answer to your question I like the top middle cover as it expresses to me the overriding sentiment of the novel. The companionship of the Lido 😊
