Eek!
I am SO excited to be able to share with you the UK cover of my next book, This Book Made Me Think of You, and to let you know that it is now available to pre-order and request on Netgalley!
I am absolutely in love with the cover. What do you think?
I’ve also seen the US cover and it’s awesome too! I love seeing the international versions of my books. It’s so interesting to see how styles differ in different countries. I can’t wait to share the US cover with you soon and to give you more details on how to pre-order if you live in North America.
But for now, if you are a UK reader and fancy pre-ordering, think of it as a present to future you! Pre-orders really help authors, so if you are a reader who pre-orders, then a great big THANK YOU.
This Book Made Me Think of You
This book is a really special one for me. It is a moving, romantic celebration of books and reading, and I really hope you’re going to love it. Here’s the blurb…
When Tilly Nightingale receives a call telling her there’s a birthday gift from her fiancé waiting for her at her local bookshop, it couldn’t come as more of a shock. Partly because she can’t remember the last time she read a book for pleasure. Mainly because Joe died five months ago…
The gift is simple – twelve carefully-chosen books from Joe, one for each month, to help her turn the page on her first year without him.
Tilly sets out on a series of reading-inspired adventures that take her around the world. But as she begins to vlog her journey, her story becomes more than her own. With help from Alfie, the bookshop owner, her budding new following and her friends and family, can Tilly’s year of books show her how to love again?

In the meantime, all five of my other novels are available to buy online or order from your local bookshop. Here’s a little summary of each in case there are any you’ve missed!
The Lido - Kate, 26, and Rosemary, 86, come together to save their local lido from closure, and find so much along the way… (Currently on sale for £2.99 on Kindle.)
The Lifeline - My follow-up to The Lido, this book follows Kate five years in the future as she’s struggling as a new mum, and Phoebe, a mental health nurse who spends so much time looking after other people that she has forgotten how to look after herself. Wild swimming, friendship and community.

What I’ve been reading
I’ve read some amazing books recently! Here are some I can’t stop talking about…
Atmosphere, Taylor Jenkins Reid - A gorgeous love story set in the 1980s, following one of the first cohorts of female astronauts. Absolutely gripping and made me SOB.
Sounds Like Love, Ashley Poston - Two musicians develop a telepathic connection (go with me on this, it works!) and write a song together. Gorgeously romantic and emotional.
Swept Away, Beth O’Leary - A couple have a one-night stand on a houseboat and then get swept out to sea. They must fight to survive, whilst also fighting their growing feelings…
Remarkably Bright Creatures, Shelby Van Pelt - A sentient octopus helps a lonely cleaner at an aquarium solve the mystery of how her son died. Reminded me of a Fredrik Backman novel, but with a talking octopus!
What have you been reading recently?
Thank you as ever for being her and for reading! I’m so happy to bring you along on this journey as I prepare to launch my sixth novel and start writing my seventh. I truly feel so lucky to be able to call writing books my job, and YOU help to make that possible. I appreciate every one of you.
Signing off now from sunny Devon, where I am spending a few days with my family, swimming in the sea and reading lots of books! Sending a dose of sunshine and salty sea air your way.
Congratulations, Libby! Can't wait to read. This cover is gorgeous, too! Bound to stand out on the shelves ❤️
