I’m very excited to be able to share some big news that I have been sitting on for a couple of months now…
My next book is coming to North America (and France, Germany and Brazil)!
That’s right! My next book is going to be published in North America by Berkley, an imprint of Penguin Random House. Publisher for a few authors you may have heard of like Emily Henry, Carley Fortune, Ashley Poston and Ali Hazelwood.
Yes, I’m still pinching myself a bit about it, and the fact that the rights for this and another book (to be written next year!) sold at auction, one of the most exciting moments in my career to date.
I often get asked by US readers how they can get hold of my books and when my next one will be published in America. Well, my next book This Book Made Me Think of You will be coming out in the US and the UK in January 2026. I have also sold the rights in Germany, France and Brazil!
You may have seen that I shared earlier this year that I am making a move to a new publisher in the UK with a two-book deal with Viking (also an imprint of Penguin Random House).
This shift and the announcement of the US publication marks a new chapter (pun intended!) for me and I’m really happy to be able to tell you about it.
Do we really have to wait until 2026 for your next book?
Due to this news and the fact that I had to take a bit of time out earlier this year because of unexpected surgery (right when I was due to submit a final draft of my next book!) the publication date for my next book is early 2026.
Between now and then there will be lots of work going on behind the scenes to prepare for the launch. Over the coming year I will share the latest news with you as soon as I can, as well as telling you more about the book.
I hope you’ll think it’s worth the wait. It is my favourite book yet.
As I write this I’m looking at a moodboard that I made while writing that is pinned to my wall. It makes me very excited to think of the story that started in this room in Somerset, England, growing wings and flying around the world in just over a year’s time.
I hope you’ll stick with me to follow the journey.
well done Libby!
This is fantastic! I discovered you while living abroad (The Lido, picked up in London) and have been pushing your books on my American friends ever since. Now it will be so much easier! Congrats!
